When Sleep Finally Comes

At night, when the walls close in, my mind begins to race with all of the what if(s) and I wish I could have(s) and needs to be done. Sleep is just out of reach. For me, Ambien finally covers the noise, calming my mind and enabling me to slip into slumber. In the morning, as the cover of sleep recedes, the night demons seem both more manageable and more in control. Almost begging the question of why they appear so clearly in the dark yet are so much fainter in the light?

Created in Blender 3.4 using geometry nodes and cloth physics.
