I felt a need to create an animation that gave me a sense of wonder and peace in a time that I and so many others find so troubling for so many reasons. I’ve called this animation “Ukiyo no Iro” (浮世の色) which translates to “Colors of the Floating World”. It is an animation where twisting shapes and floating orbs move in a continuous, rhythmic motion with the intention of having the shifting colors and forms create a sense of fluidity and harmony.
