Mania I – Inspired from Picasso’s Head of Woman

This project focuses on the manic side of bipolar disorder, the disjointed thoughts and the brain noise that results. It is the illusion of the creative flight, and possibly the most scary.

Technical notes: I started this project in the Midjourney AI engine by typing in the prompt “manic Picasso” which generated various versions of the woman’s face. I kept refining the prompt until I was satisfied with one of the variations. I then took that image into Photoshop and manipulated it to produce the various effects. Then I took it into Blender and did the animation, finishing the editing in Adobe Premiere.
