Impermanence is a philosophical concept that is addressed in a variety of religions and philosophies. In Buddhist philosophy, impermanence is one of the essential doctrines. The doctrine asserts that all conditioned existence, without exception, is “transient, evanescent, inconstant”. This animation looks at the impermanence of my animations. They play for a moment on YouTube or Instagram, then they are gone. My hope is that they strike a chord with the viewer and perhaps alter some synapses into a less transient memory.
