Alone at 70 but on the way to a friend. This image was generated using the Midjourney AI engine and edited in photoshop. The prompt I used in the AI was “old man walking away, city street, sad, tattered suit, hat, night, complex details, very realistic, art by edward hopper” if you wish to generate a version of this image. It is one of my first attempts using this tool. If you haven’t looked at Midjourney, it is an AI engine trained on billions of images and can generate interesting artwork. In my mind it does not replace an artist’s training, rather it enhances the ability to think visually and use it to prototype what you might later create by hand. It is one more tool artists can use to communicate.
